Scorched targets take damage over time, and this damage increases as your target accumulates Scorch stacks. After enough Scorch stacks are applied, your foes ignite in a large explosion. To make progress, equip abilities, aspects, fragments, or gear with the Scorch keyword. For example, the Ember of Char fragment makes your Solar Ignitions spread Scorch to affected targets.

For example, the Spark of Shock Fragment adds a Jolt effect to your Arc grenades.

Complete the Lost Sector Exodus Garden 2A in the Cosmodrome, and loot the Lost Sector chest.

Collecting elemental pickups or throwing a Strand Tangle grants a longer initial period of increased damage, and an improved stacking period of increased damage. Elemental pickups include Firesprites, Void Breaches, Stasis Shards, Ionic Traces, and Strand Tangles.

Final blows with another weapon grant this weapon increased speed aiming down sights, accuracy, and airborne effectiveness for a longer duration. When Discord is active, final blows refund ammo.
